Gesture-controlled light system

Gesture-controlled light system

The Phillips HUE API can be used to address your own light sources in your private home network. Through a program written in processing which integrate a Leap Motion Sensor, the individual lamps can be regulated by different hand gestures. At a central point, the light color and intensity of different lamps can be controlled only with hand movements.

Movement in the horizontal direction changes the light color. Movement in the depth dims the light intensity. A circular movement with the index finger changes the lamp which is addressed. (clockwise: next lamp, counterclockwise direction: back lamp)
